This is something I’ve really enjoyed doing, even if a little nerve wracking at first and not really scripted which made it even harder but enjoyed thinking on my feet. Also Q&A went down well and gave me a chance to get the stories out I might have forgotten otherwise. Now I have a general script to work from to give it a little more structure but I will tailor it more to suit the audience. If it was more a West Ham audience then I’ve got the stories from the play off final, knee injury, FA Cup final, numerous trips away with the squad, Alan Pardew, Giafranco Zola, Alan Curbishley alongside the stories from Harry Redknapp at Spurs and the lads along the way who were characters to say the least. Some of the best stories are making my way in the game from a young age where my first manager was Neil Warnock which was an experience and a half, to the many fantastic years and successes I had at Walsall with some fantastic players and managers. This is usually a very closed world so to hear the stories I will share with you first hand I hope you will enjoy and I’m sure it will certainly open your eyes and give you an enjoyable evening.
